I think her name would be closer to Sewda in Siltigna or Arabic. Her voice and music is to die for. I was hooked immediately.

Hey fellas!
Just wanted to share one of my favorite fragrances. It is Oud but well composed and toned down. Very different from cheaper but very strong Middle Eastern brands. I think it would be a great addition to a Silte man's style. Just wear sparingly (not too much..one or two spritzles). Here is the link: http://www.nstperfume.com/2009/03/25/le-labo-oud-27-fragrance-review/ and L'Artisan has something very unique and captivating: http://www.artisanparfumeur.us/store/product_info.php?cPath=1&products_id=154 or any Hermes men's frarances are great, too. You can search the site for more. http://usa.hermes.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?storeId=10202&catalogId=10052&langId=-1&categoryId=10887&leftCategoryId=10878&firstLeftCategoryId=10878&topCategoryId=10835&parentCategoryId=128041&nbItem=0 |

I found this similarity very interesting. Although it is common for Aderigna singers to adapt Arabic, Hindi, and others basically like Swahili singers in Mombasa or Zanzibar...this one was really close. But this is how music and culture grow: they adapt.
Listen to this Swahili Music:
The song by Atham that is similar, I could not find the video. Please someone post if you can locate it. The song is the one about mothers. Meantime, here is a song by Atham in Aderigna "Ziyara, Yirekhbubo Fayda". I think the meaning is the same in Siltigna ("Ziyara, Yirekbubyan Fayada"). Listen:
Enjoy! |
